Yarn Spinning Dataset

This dataset comprises about 300 gigabytes of continuous images of three different varieties of ring spun yarns, which represent several hundred meters of yarn length during production on a spinning frame. The same yarn specimens were tested using an offline laboratory scale yarn quality tester and the testing outcomes are provided within this data. The aim of publishing this dataset is to facilitate the development, validation and testing of online yarn quality control systems.
